Summary
SuperTool does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It does not require an account, use analytics or advertising SDKs, or connect to AppFactory servers.
Information used on your Mac
SuperTool reads local system information needed for its features, including installed applications that can open web links, mounted-volume capacity, memory and processor statistics, thermal state, available power readings, and read-only fan telemetry where macOS and the hardware expose them. This information is used to display local status and is not transmitted.
Local preferences
Preferences remain on your Mac. They can include menu bar visibility and display settings, selected volume, Keep Awake settings, and launch-at-login state.
Diagnostics
SuperTool keeps a local technical diagnostics log for troubleshooting. It may contain app events, operating-system and thermal state, hardware capability counts, and error messages. It does not include personal files or file contents. The log is exported only when you choose the diagnostics export action.
Browser and system controls
Browser discovery uses macOS Launch Services. Changing the default browser uses the public macOS API and the system confirmation. Keep Awake uses local macOS power assertions. SuperTool does not bypass system confirmation or security controls.
Network, analytics, and advertising
The app does not make network requests for its core features and does not include analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, third-party servers, or remote logging. This website may load web fonts from Google Fonts when a connection is available; that website behavior is separate from the app.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how information is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is distributed.
